De Zuid-Koreaanse/Nederlandse Hae Jin Park is geboren op 4 augustus 1996 in Nottingham, Engeland. Zij begon op zevenjarige leeftijd met het spelen van de viool en werd één jaar later toegelaten op het Sweelinck Academie ("Jong Talent") van het Amsterdam Conservatorium. Daar werd zij begeleid door vioolpedagogen zoals Joyce Tan, Reinette Thiadens en Johannes Leertouwer. Het Johanna Kinder Fonds heeft Hae Jin financiële steun gegeven om haar passie voort te zetten. Zij heeft haar Bachelor bij de gerenommeerde Maria Milstein, Ilya Grubert en Elliot Lawson op het CvA mogen voltooien. Het NMF heeft een prachtige Panormo viool uit het jaar 1790 en een mooie Schmidt vioolstok ter beschikking gesteld aan Hae Jin. Daarnaast heeft zij ook les gekregen van de concertmeester van de Nederlandse Bachvereniging Shunske Sato voor haar bijvak Baroque Violin. Tussen 2007 en 2015 heeft Hae Jin meerdere malen in de Kleine Zaal van het Concertgebouw mogen optreden. Verder heeft zij deelgenomen als solist met het Britten Strijkorkest en het Amstelveen Symfonie Orkest. Zij heeft ook in 2009 voor de Koninklijke Familie mogen spelen in Apeldoorn. Verder heeft zij ook verschillende prijzen in ontvangst genomen, zoals de 1e prijs en publieksprijs van het Prinses Christina Concours in regio Oost, de 1e prijs en publiekprijs van het ‘Yamaha Foundation Europe’ en de 2e prijs bij het eerste online muziekcompetitie van ‘Het Klokhuis’ met als jurylid Janine Jansen. Hae Jin heeft deelgenomen aan nationale en internationale festivals en is dit jaar (2022) gevraagd als concertmeester van het ‘Davos Festival Academy’ in Zwitserland. Sinds 2021 is zij remplaçant bij het Residentie Orkest, Sinfonietta Schaffhausen, Camerata Schweiz en City Light Concerts Orchestra in Zwitserland. In 2021 heeft Hae Jin haar studie vervolgd in het buitenland. Op dit moment volgt zij haar Master Performance Konzert bij de befaamde Rudolf Koelman aan het Züricher Hochschule der Künste. Hae Jin krijgt begeleiding van Rahel Cunz voor ‘Neue Musik’ en begeleiding van Wendy Enderle-Champney voor de altviool. Deze opleiding is mede mogelijk gemaakt door het Bernhard Cultuur Fonds, Stichting Den Hertogin en het Fundatie van Renswoude. Hae Jin is sinds 2022 de 2e vioolaanvoerder van de ZHDK Strings onder artistieke leiding van Rudolf Koelman. Ze heeft meerdere keren solo met hen in Italië en Zwitserland gespeeld. Hae Jin heeft vele Masterclasses gevolgd van beroemde solisten zoals Shlomo Mintz, Alexander Markov, Yair Kless, Pavel Vernikov en Stefan Jackiw. Zij bespeelt niet enkel de viool maar geeft ook les aan de muziekschool FluXus in Zaandam onder het project ‘Muziek Maakt School’ en ook privéles aan meerdere studenten. Verder wordt Hae Jin ook vaak gevraagd door verschillende muziekscholen in Amsterdam en Amstelveen. Haar methode is gebaseerd op het evalueren van de doelstellingen van de student en ervoor zorgen dat de studie-eisen overeenstemmen met die doelstellingen.
South Korean-Dutch Hae Jin Park was born on Aug. 4, 1996, in Nottingham, England. She started playing the violin at the age of seven. Within one year, she was admitted to the Sweelinck Academy ("Young Talent") of the Amsterdam Conservatory and received lessons from violin professors Joyce Tan, Reinette Thiadens and Johannes Leertouwer. Hae Jin continued her violin studies at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam with the renowned Maria Milstein, Ilya Grubert and Elliot Lawson, and later for her minor in Baroque Violin with the concertmaster of the Netherlands Bach Society Shunske Sato.
In 2021, Hae Jin has started with her Master Performance Konzert with the renowned Rudolf Koelman at the Zurich Hochschule der Künste and is under the tutelage of Rahel Cunz for 'Neue Musik' and is studying viola with Wendy Enderle-Champney. She has been the 2nd violin leader of the ZHDK Strings under the artistic direction of Rudolf Koelman since 2022 and had the opportunity to play solo with the ZHDK Strings in Italy and Switzerland.
In 2023, she started her second Specialized Master with Andreas Jake and Sasha Sitskovetsky at the Zurich Hochschule der Künste. As far as recent projects are concerned, Hae Jin won the praktikant position with the Musiklollegium Winterthur orchestra for the season 2023/2024. In addition, she is a current remplaçant with the Residentie Orkest, Sinfonietta Schaffhausen, Camerata Schweiz, City Light Concerts Orchestra, Züricher Kammerphilharmonie and Klassik Nuevo in Switzerland from 2021. She was also the performing concertmaster of the 'Davos Festival Academy' in Switzerland in 2022.
Hae Jin’s professional career began following her opportunities to perform solo concerts in the Small Hall of the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Classic Express and as a soloist with the Britten String Orchestra and the Amstelveen Symphony Orchestra, at the age of ten. She also performed in front of the Dutch Royal Family in Apeldoorn in 2009.
She has won several awards: the 1st prize and public prize of the Princess Christina Competition in the Eastern Regional, the 1st prize and public prize of the 'Yamaha Foundation Europe' and the 2nd prize in the first online music competition of 'Het Klokhuis' with the famous Janine Jansen as the judge. She has performed in national and international festivals including Orlando Festival, Wonderfeel Festival, Davos Festival and Seeklang Festival. Hae Jin has attended several Masterclasses by famous soloists such as Augustin Hadelich, Patricia Kopachenskaja, Shlomo Mintz, Alexander Markov, Yair Kless, Pavel Vernikov and Stefan Jackiw.
Since 2017, she has been teaching violin at the FluXus music school in Zaandam under the "Music Makes School” project and teaching private students. In addition, she is asked as a substitute teacher at several music schools in Amsterdam and Amstelveen. Her method is based on evaluating the student's goals and ensuring that the study requirements correspond to those goals.
From 2005 until 2012, Hae Jin received financial support from the "Johanna Kinder Fonds" for her violin studies. Throughout her studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Hae Jin received a violin on loan by the Nationaal Muziek Fonds. She plays a beautiful Panormo from 1790, generously loaned by the same organization NMF. Her current violin studies in Swiss is partially sponsored by scholarships from the Bernhard Cultuur Fonds, Stichting Den Hertogin and the Fundatie van Renswoude.
